• Multiple training courses attended in various topics e.g. Wound Management, Quality Management, Infection management, CSSD, Endoscopy, Adult Education & Training, Preceptorship & more

Background / Experience:
Commenced as an RN in 1994. Worked in General Surgical, Medical, Day Surgery & then primarily in Neuro at Westmead Hospital, Sydney - have CNS status & post grad tertiary qualification in Neurosciences. Also worked as ANUM for 3 month cover on Neuro Unit. Also worked 3yrs in Private Medical Centre as Triage RN. Transferred to QLD & became CN Medical at Caboolture Private before branching off into current roles.

Current Role:
My role is titled Quality & Risk Manager yet includes the following roles: Quality & Risk, Education Coordinator, Infection Control Coordinator, Rehab/Return to Work Coordinator and Workplace Health & Safety Officer. I have been in this combined role for 2.5yrs, previously only in Quality role for 1yr prior.

I work fulltime, am married & a mum to 19mth boy. Life is very, very busy, never dull.
